Common Publication Policy and Ethics for Books with No Royalty and No Distribution

1. Publication and Distribution:
   Our role is limited to publishing. No royalties are paid and no distribution is done for books such as Textbooks, Edited Books, Theses, Proceedings, or Reference Books. Authors are responsible for promoting their works to libraries or institutions. If at least 800-1000 copies are sold within a year by authors/editors, an 8% royalty may be offered after deducting expenses.

2. Copyright and Usage:
   Authors retain full copyright. The publication is for academic purposes only, with no commercial intent. Reproduction or distribution requires written approval. For internal or restricted use only. Books and edited chapters may be published as open access or closed access based on the consent of the authors and editors.

3. Costs and Payment:
   Authors pay a one-time fee to cover operational expenses like formatting, proofreading, and cover design. After payment, ISBN and DOI are assigned, and the cover page is shared with the author. The Indian ISBN for these publications has been issued by Kaav Publications. The publication process typically takes 15-20 days. Complimentary copies are provided; extra copies are available for purchase.

4. Marketing and Inner Cover Page:
   On the inner cover page of the book, it will be mentioned that the book is “Marketed by Kaav Media Pvt. Ltd.” to enhance brand recognition and increase website popularity. This is purely for the purpose of promoting visibility and brand awareness. Noble Science Press (A Unit of Kaav Media Pvt. Ltd.)

5. Post-Publication and Amendments:
   Authors can request amendments post-publication. Books may be listed on platforms like Amazon for visibility, but not for sale. E-books can be published without royalty.

6. Open and Closed Access:
   Books or edited book chapters may be made available as open access or closed access content based on the mutual consent of the authors and editors. In the case of open access, the chapters may be freely accessed online for academic purposes.

7. Ethical Standards:
   We maintain transparency and fairness throughout the process. All submissions must be original, properly cited, and free of plagiarism. Confidentiality of content is ensured, and conflicts of interest are disclosed.
