Abstract : State Bank of India is a Public sector bank and the largest bank in India. It has more than 24,000 branches all over the India. SBI Bank plays a vital role in CSR activities in improving the livelihood of people belongs to rural areas. The SBI Bank has focused many programs for the upliftment of the society through Corporate Social Responsibility Practices. According to Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, the SBI Bank has been allocating 1% of total Profit for CSR Practices. The SBI Bank spent on CSR Practices Rs. 204.10 Cr. against a total profit of Rs. 20,410 Crore for the FY 2022. SBI Bank promotes CSR Practices through SBI Foundation, Circles & Departments. It is founded to create a deep social impact and maximize the positive impact on the world around us in various areas like healthcare, Education and environment etc.
