Abstract : In this chapter, it is made clear how crucially important the two concepts are in today's digital environment. The chapter examines modern encryption methods, privacy-preserving technology, and ethical issues to address the inherent relationship between these fields. It examines international privacy laws while navigating the moral conundrums of data collecting and surveillance. Case studies from real-world situations highlight how compromised cybersecurity affects people's privacy. The chapter also emphasizes the value of user education and the promotion of digital literacy and alertness. The chapter gives a thorough knowledge of the symbiotic link between cybersecurity and privacy by examining these issues, pointing readers toward a secure, privacy-respecting digital future.
