Abstract : The field of marketing focuses on determining and satisfying both individual and societal requirements. The fulfilment of requirements in a manner that generates a profit is one of the more concise definitions of marketing. To fulfil the requirements and wishes of the populac e should be the mission of every company that goes into business. Therefore, marketing is an essential function for any and all business organisations. When a salesperson sells washing machines, a doctor treats a patient, or a government asks people to take their children for getting polio drops, each of these activities is an example of marketing something to the targets. Historically, the owners of small businesses did not place as much emphasis on marketing as they did on other aspects of their businesses, such as accounting, production, and sales.
