Abstract : Cardiovascular diseases were once regarded as major health concerns primarily in Western countries. Cardiovascular disorders, on the other hand, are becoming more prevalent in developing countries like India. Hypertension, congestive heart failure, angina pectoris, and cardiac arrhythmias are the most common cardiovascular disorders. Because most drugs currently available can reduce morbidity and mortality associated with these disorders, this chapter will focus on their pharmacology.
