Abstract : The brothers had humble beginnings. Their father was a bank employee and their mother was a Veena player. To earn some quick bucks, Nithin worked in a call centre at night and used to trade in the mornings. Gradually he became a sub-broker in Reliance Money and added big clients and a chunk of money. Over a period of time, he realised that there are many trade barriers along with high commissions. Thus commoners are dreadful of the stock market aka DALAL STREET. With this germ of an idea born the name ZERODHA came.
