Abstract : Ceric Ammonium Sulphate, Reagent is an inorganic substance that is a water-soluble, orange-red cerium salt that is frequently employed as an oxidising agent in organic synthesis and as a standard oxidant in quantitative analysis. As2O3, often known as arsenic trioxide, is an acidic salt compound. This experiment illustrates the most prevalent approach to obtaining standard solutions for titrimetric analysis. Preparation of a solution with the required approximate concentration is followed by direct titration against a primary standard to determine the concentration.
Keywords : CERIC AMMONIUM, cerium salt .
