Description

This book on Pharma Marketing Managements is based on the current D. Pharma PCI regulation ER-20. Pharmaceutical chemistry practical divided into eight parts as per new PCI syllabus.  Part 1 includes limit tests for quantitative or semi-quantitative estimation of impurities like chloride, sulphate, Iron and heavy metals in pharmaceuticals. Part 2 includes identification tests for anions and cations as per I.P. in pharmaceuticals. Part 3 includes fundamentals of volumetric analysis for preparation and standardization of secondary standard substances. Part 4 includes assay of various chemical substances and pharmaceuticals using various titration methods like acid-base titration, non-aqueous titration, precipitation titration, complexometric titration and redox titration as per I.P. Part 5 includes fundamentals of preparative organic chemistry for identification of pharmaceutical using melting and boiling point determination. Part 6 includes preparation of pharmaceutically important intermediate such as benzoic acid and picric acid. Part 7 includes identification and test for purity of pharmaceuticals like paracetamol and aspirin. Part 8 includes systematic qualitative analysis of pharmaceuticals and its intermediates as per I.P.
